The favourite usually has lower odds. For example, odds of 1.80 on Team B means a ৳500 stake returns ৳900 (profit ৳400). In American format this is written as -125, meaning you need to stake ৳125 to win ৳100 profit.
In limited-overs cricket there is usually no draw, so the market has two options — Team A or Team B. Say Team A is at odds 2.10 and Team B at 1.75. The bet slip — single and multi bets
When you click on a selection it is automatically added to the bet slip. The slip usually appears as a floating panel on the right side or bottom of the screen.
Single bet
A bet on one selection only. Enter the stake amount and the potential return is shown immediately. For example: Team B, odds 1.80, stake ৳500 — potential return ৳900.
Multi bet (multiple selections)
Adding more than one selection to the slip creates a "Multi" or "Accumulator" option. All odds are multiplied together to give a combined odds figure. For example, three selections at 1.70 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 5.81 (approximately). A ৳100 stake returns ৳581 if all three win. If even one loses, the entire ৳100 is lost.
Multi bets offer higher potential returns but also carry higher risk. Single bets are comparatively lower risk.
